WoL Synopsis
For as long as she could remember, Lota was raised by Fufucha Fucha. She was taught to respect nature through botany and conjury lessons. For every resource taken, a seed must be planted. A delicate yet simple balance to to follow. Otherwise, you may face the Elemental's wrath.As a Keeper of the Moon, Lota had trouble creating meaningful bonds with other Gridanians. While not everyone held grudges against her kind, the sentiment was prevalent throughout the Shroud thanks to the local poachers. It wasn't until she had met Leih Aliapoh that she finally made a friend around her age while attending archery lessons.
One day, a traveling adventurer had fallen ill on Gridania's doorstep. Everyone ignored the stranger due to superstition. Lota, however, could not turn a blind eye and carried them home for treatment. No matter what spell she cast, it could not heal the adventurer. When Lota requested medicine, the shopkeeps would not sell their wares to aid an outsider. The best she could do was to use the herbs in her garden to create a pain reliever.Lota prayed to Menphina that the adventurer could recover on their own. On days when the adventurer was well enough, they regaled Lota with stories of their journey. Of lands both beautiful and mysterious. It was awe inspiring and piqued her interest of the world beyond the Shroud. Unfortunately, their time together was cut short as it was the adventurer's time to return to the Lifestream.The adventurer's final wish was to be buried by their sibling in Eastern Thanlan. Lota kept that promise and ventured to Ul'dah by caravan. In hopes of burying the ashes and learning a new trade. Alchemy. What magic couldn't heal, a timely given medication could've cured. Frightened yet determined, Lota left the Shroud for the first time.
